BLENHEIM, This Day. Bertie James Morrison, aged 13, oi Okaramio, sustained fatal injuries whei he was dragged by a pony on hit grandmother's farm yesteTday after noon. Unable to reach the stirrut irons, Morrison was riding with his feet in the leathers when one stirrup caughi in a half-opened gate, throwing hin off thc pony. One foot became entangled in the leather top. The pony bolted with the boy hang- - , ing head down. He suffered severe head injuries, succuinbing soon after a doc»tor's arriyal from Havelock.
