INTER-CLUB CROQUET
Continuation of Competitions Teams from the Hastings and Waipukurau Croquet Clubs met on both clubs'- lawns in continuation of the inter-club competitions. At Hastings the bome four won by 104 points. to 63, and at Waipukurau . the visitors wou by 98 poiuts to 64. At Waipukurau the Hastings team — Mesdames Watkins, Esson, Ashworbh, and Mr. Stratton— defeated the -loeal team — Mesdames T. Given, Ricketts, senr.} E. W. Taylor and Mr. J. Hindman. The home clubs provided the visitors with luncheon and in both towns the matches were exceedingly enjoyable. On Tuesday matches will be played at Waipukurau and Napier by representatives of the Wairere and Waipukurau clubs. The Waipukurau team for Napier is Mesdames Ricketts, senr., R. Brassel, E. W. "'Taylor and C. A. Webb.
