WOODVILLE NOMINATIONS FRIDAY

The programme of the Woodville D:J. C's summer meeting has been released. It caters for all classes of horses. The hurdles race, £120, 14 anile, is for hacks, and the maiden event carri.es a stake of £80 and is run over a distance of 54 furlongs. The "hacks" are looked after in the Borough Handicap, £100, 7 furlongs; Mangarawa Handicap, £100; 6 furlongs; and the Wharite Handicaps, £120 one mile and a distance. \ Tho two-year-olds will race over fivo furlongs each day for a prize of £100. For "open" candidates the , chief events are the Bolton Handicap £175; 1 mile, and Oete Handicap, £140; 6 furlongs. Similar events -on both' days, with variations of distances, are included in the programme. Nominations for all events will close with the secretary, Mr W. A. Lyon, at 8 p.m. on Friday, Novomber 26.
