"Ludicrous" Amendments in Yictorian Council MELBOUENE, Nov." 19. Several amendments which. cut directly across the Yictorian State Ministry's proposals for the reform of the Legislative Council were made in the Constitution' Eeform Bill by the Legislative Council. The Premier, Mr A. A. Dunstan, stated later that by inserting "lii'dicrous" amendments the council was definitely refusing to accept the will of the people as expressed at the recent election.
