Meeting; of Executive Tho monthly meeting of tbe committee of the Hastings Returned Soldiers' Association was held last evening, Mr. P, J. Piiest presiding over Messrs. P. J. S. George, D. S. McLeod, S. I. Jones, L. J. Mackersey, F. H. Goldilncli, G. G. Wilkinson, W. A. Mcln- . tyxe, G. H. Koach, F. B. Field, L. J. P, Hammond, C. Pxebb'e and V. AThomson (secretary). It Was decided to forward to headquarters a comprehensive report prepared by Mr. L. J. Mackersey in connection with tlie proposed N.Z.It.S.A. land policy. A reunion is to be lield in the Odillellows' Hail on Thursday, ftoveniber • 25. to which it Was resolved to invite all members and -intending members. The date of the next It.S.A. ball was tentatively fixed for Thursday, August 4, 1938. The secretary reported that the financial membership to date was 302, approximately the same as at tbe same tune last year. • .
