Opening of Negotiations Announced LONDON, Nov. 18. The Prime Minister, Mr Neville Chamberlain, was greeted 'with applause by all parts of the House of Commons when he announced, in reply to Majoi Attlee, that he was happy to state that exploratuiy discussions regarding an Anglo-Ameriean trade pact had reached a point engbling the Governments concerned to announco that negotiations were contemplated. He added that this marked a definite step forward.
