GIFTS TO A. & P. SOCIETY

Donations Acknowledged Donations received by the Hawke's Bav A. and P. Society in connection with the Spring Show last month were the subject of a report to the -meeting of the executive' this morning. The list is as follows: Mr. D. Fernie, bullock sold on behalf of the society, £14; Mr. E. E. Blaek, refund judge's travelling allow.ance, £5; Te Apiti, eight fleeces of wool; Mr. G. S. Cainpbell, six fleeces; Mr. E. Sunderlaud, three fleeces; Estate Arch. McLean, three fleeces; Mr. E. S. .Collison, three fleeces. Prize fund: W. EichmoUd, Ltd., London award, £3 13/6; Nelsons (N.Z.) Ltd., £3; Mr.' St. Beleher, £1 1/-; Mr. H. F. Beamish, £1 1/-; Miss J. M. McHardy, £2 '2/-; Mrs. E. B. Holt, £1 1/-. Mr. C. W. Eeeves, Putorino, donated a'cup, to be allocated as the society desires.
