Meeting of Improvement Committee A general meeting of members of the Haumoana Beach Improvement Committee was held in the Haumoana hall last evening, -Mr. J. T. Blake presiding over a big.attendance. - The election of officers resulted as follows:— President, Mr. J, T. Blake; vice-presidents, Messrs. J. Wattie and A. McLeod; committee, Mesdames McCarthy and Castles and Messrs. Thorburn, A. Gordon, J. Neilsen, W. Olsen, Max McCormick, G. Hay, Castles and T, Smith.
