QUINTUPLETS' FORTUNE
Now Worth Half a Million Dollars \ PREPARING THEIR EDUCATION (Eeceived 19, 8.45 a.m.) NEW YOEK, Nov. 18. Dr. BafoO, in an interview said that the Dionne quintuplets' estate was at present half a million dollars. Their expenses average more than 400 dollars a week, including the salaries of a te'acher, tfro nurses and three guards, one housekeeper and two maids. Dr. Dafoe reeeives 200 dollars a month and the parents 100 dollars. The doctor said that two or three years hence, when the quintuplets were ready for school, >it would probably be nec^ssary to build a priva-te sehoolhouse and import selected pupils from the village to provide soeial contact. They were now studying English in addition to French. Dr. Dafoe described Yvonne as a sophisticated lady of tbe world type, Emilie as a gamin, Marie as an affectionate and clinging vine, and Ceeile and Annette as easy-going. The parents, six brothers and sisters, will spend Christmas with the quintuplets, sharing their presents.
