New Title for Presbyterian

AUCKLAND, Last Night. After a- session which commenced on Wednesday of last week, the annual Presbyterian General Assembly concluded its proceedings to-day. New titles for the moderator and past moderators of the General Assembly were agreed upon. It was resolved that the moderator in office should have "right reverend" prefixed to his name instead of merely "reverend" as for-i merly, while past moderators will be known as "very reverend." The newly-appointed moderator,' who will remain in office until the General Assembly in November 1938, is Rt. Rev. W. H. Howes, of Otautau, Southland. ■ u
