Lodge of Instruction was held, the - R.A.D., Bro. Halford, presiding. Nine members were initiated into the chapter by the officers present. P.A. Bro. E. W. Holt and R. Smart were installed into the V.A.B. chairs t»y the P/P., Sister Pedersen. Considerablo discussion took place on various rules and ritual matters. The cxauiination of the aspiring ofhcers for the next term was carried out by the chapter and all aequitted themselves creditably. Supper Avas served by the social committee at the close of the ineeting. Crociuet at Waipawa. There was a very good attendance at tlie annual meeting of the croquet section of the Waipawa Sports Club. Mrs E. Adeane was elected president, and Mrs K. B. Gollan was re-elected as secretary. Mesdanies Adeane and Gollan were elected joint captains. Several new members were eleeted, and the prospects are for a very successful season.
