The beautiful gardens at the home of Mr and Mrs A. Christie, Chambers road,, Havelock North, were much admired by about 80 people who visited them yesterday for the garden party arrapgeu by the Havelock North branch of the New Zealand National Party. The guests enjoyed wandering ronnd the garden, and for the young folk miniature golf and tennis had been arranged, The cake and sweet stalls did brisk business throughout the afternoon, and a tempting afternoon tea was much appreciated. The party was a most successful one, and as a result quite a large sum was f added to the funds,
