I. .... i i w i Karamu Settlemeiit The second anniversary of the Methodist Sunday School at the Karamu Small Earms Settlement was celebrated.on Sunday. The • service was he]d in, "the marquee erpcted for the occasion, at the residence - of Mr and Mrs Eattray. -The Bev, H. J. Odell, of Napier, conduqted the service and took as his text the word? of the prophet Isiah: "Here am X Send Me"." A feature of the service was" the singipg by the children 's choir of 40 vQi'ces, pnder the leadership of the Rev. R, B, Gosnell, who' had trained them for the occasion, There was also a hymn and chorns by the bible class girls and one by the boys. Mrs Gosnell 's inf&nt class contributed an item with a so]o by Lassie Rutherford. Duets wero sung by Norma and Ngaere Dick and Jean Butherford and BUeen Allison, while Gordon Gillegpie repeated the •23rd. Psalm. The service was bright and helpful, and one which the little people will long remCmber. It was announced that the celebrationg would be continued on Eriday ' evening when a tea and sociai will 1>Q' held.
