OFFICIALS RECALLED
Soviet Embassy Attaches WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THEM? (Received 16, 8.45 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 15, The Daily Mail says that speculation is rife regarding the futurq of the Soviet Fmbassy officials just recalled to Russia, where the second seeretary, M. Anton Scliuster, has been for a fortnight. Tliose recalled are MM. Lev Chikuncki, naval attache ; A. K. Sivkpv, military attache; and Ivan Cherney,air attache. The last two suqceeded M, Putpa, who, after lffs recall, died in gaol, branded as a Trotskyist. The Daily Mirror says that the Soviet Ambassador, M. ^Maisky, is expected to leave London* for Leningrad next Friday, The paper connects the recall of M, Maisky's attaches with Stalin's purge, and says M. .Maisky might refuse to go, but has a daughter livlng in Russia, and thought fqr her safety will dictatfe obedience te the erderfc.
