No Reason to Suppose They Menace Egypt (Eeceived 16, 10.50 a,m.) LONDON, Nov, 15. Viscount Cranborne, in tfie House of Commons, said there was no reason to snppose that the Italian reipforcemepts of troops in Libya was directed against Egypt. He understood that the normal garrison of 20,000 had been increased by 40,000 to 45,000. The Italian Government stated that there was no c&use for apprehension. The British Government would carry out its obligations and defend Egyptian territory in the event of Egypt becoming the victim of aggression.
