In order to clean combs, they should I be soaked in hot, soapy water, to which a few drops of ammonia have been added. When they are sci'ubbed with a nail brusli so as to clean between the teeth, the grease will be found to come away quite casily, leaving the comb perfectly clean. Tortoiseshell combs should liave oil rubbed on them. once in a whilc, - — ^ ^
