There was a good attendance at the annual meeting of the Eotoma and Bay of Plenty Hunt Club's meeting to-d^y. ,The weather was showery and towards the close of the day the track was holding. The totalisator handled £14,517 10s, as against £12,241 10s last year, the increase being £2276. J. Fergus, rider of Sandrift, which fell going out of the straight when leading the field in the Haeremai Highweight, received fractured ri'bs and was taken to hospital.
