Lady Charles, who is known on the stage as' Adele Ast'aire, worked on the film for only tliree days, when she decided- it '.was .unsuitable for her hecause her part gave her no opportunity for singing and, dancing. "I was afraid of/what those who saw me in musical comedy would think," she said, "and even more afraid of what my brother Fred would think."
