HASTINGS ROSE SHOW
Meeting of Horticultural Executive Einal arrangements for the Kose and Sweet Pea Show, which is to be hela in the Assembly Half on November 20, were discussed last evening at an executive meeting of the Hastings Horticultural Society. Officials for the occasion were appointed, and jadging times decided. .Judges appointed were: Mr G. D. Wilson^ rose section; Mrs W. Wright, sweet peas; Miss Kita Martin, decorative section; Mr J. G. C. Mackenmo, ■ miscellaneous classes. It was decided to have a novelty table at the show. anctyanyone havlng'a novelty or freak plant growth is invited to bring it to the show for exhibition. There will be no entry fee. The decorative table is again to be judged by popular Vote. All entries close at Hixon's seed sliop on Thursday at 9 p.m. Intending competitors are requested to note that roaes will be staged in _ vases, and not io tubes as at previous shows. Sehedule.* are obtainable from all seed shops.
