A. C. Stedman to Give Exhibitions VISIT TO NAPIER

WELLINGTON, Last Night. A. C. Stedman, the New Zealand tennis piayer, who has been in England for the past f'ew years. will arrive at Wellington on December 4. _The New Zealand Lawn Tennis Assocfation management c'ommittee has drawn np an itinerary for a New Zealand tour for him and D. C. Coombe. and for other leading players_ who may b© available, to play in exhibition matches. The itinerary is as follows: — Whangarei, December 18. Hamilton, December 27." Christchurch, January 1. Dunedin, January 3. Invercargill, January 5. Timaru, January 8. Wellington January 15. Palmerston North, January 19. Wanganui^ January 22. • Napier, January 26. 2 7ew Zealand championships at Auckland, January 31 to February 5. In addition, Stedman will be asked to play two exhibition matches in Auckland sub-districts to be nominated by the Auckland Lawn Tennis Association, If it can be arranged. He will also ' be asked to give a demonStralion to juniots attending tlse jtmior championships at Christchurch. The terms of exhibition matches are that the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association will pay the traveJling expenses of Stedman and another piayer, plus 10/- a dav aliowance for each piayer away from home. The local associations are to billct the visiting players and pay the iMew Zealand Lawn Tennis Association one-third •f the gross receipts, less tax.
