Th© newspapers are unable to penetrate the veil of secrecy surrounding Britain's new anti-aircraft gun, which for the first time was revealed in a guarded wxitten reply in the House of Commons to Sir K. Warrender baldly announcing th© gun's perfection. It is understood that th© military authorities are satisfied, after years of research and huge expenditure, that th© gun will prove effective against air-raiders.
