Nelson Cyclist Injured

NELSON, This Day. While Oycling aiong the main road to Richmond la&t night, a young man, Garth Owen,was knocked down by a motor car and thrown over the bonnet, his head going through the windshieldi. He received a bad scalp wound. The motorist dontinued on his way, abandoning the cycle two miles further on. The cyclist, who was left iying on the foad, was picked up in a dazed condition by a following motorist and brought to the Nelson Public Hospital. As a reSiilt of police inquiries a young man, John Charles S. Annon, appeared in tbe Magistrate's Court this morning on a charge of negiigent driving, causing bodily • injury, The case was adjourned.
