MUNICIPAL THEATRE

'PALLING THE TUNE" AND "YELLOWSTONE."

Associated Talking Pictures, who made " Murder at Broadcasting House" and "The Silent passenger," have in "Calling The Tune," their latest production, screening at t,he Municipal to-uight, susfained the favourable impression created by those two films. Starring Sally Grey and Clifford Evans, it has an original theme, distinctively handled, and possesses many aspects of popular appeal. Tracing tbe development of the gramophone science and induetry, "Calling the Tune" possesses uniqu© jnterest values as well as affording opportunities for performances by notable world favourites, of whom the Queen's Hall Orchestra, under the direction of Sir Henry Wood, and George Eobey are outstanding examples. Action, suspense, romance and marvellous photography are the qualities whitfh distingnish TTnivSrsai's "Yel;, lowstone," the mystery which is the ' second f eature at the Municipal. A bandit horde returns to the park, searehing for buried treasure which one of their number hid 18 years before. The conniving struggle for the loot reaches a pitch of violence that ends in a mysterious murder. The strange manuer in which the crime is committed, and the astonishing solution, develop novel situations in the story wbich have' neyer been screened before. Tlie magnifieent grandeur of Yellowstone National Park is another reason why the picture, is gripping ©ntsrtainment. _
