CARNIVAL DANCE HELD AT HAUMOANA

A most successful carnival dance arranged by the Haumoana Tennis Club was held last evening in the Haumoana Hall which was filled to capacity. During the evening Mr e. Hegarty was an effieient M.C. and exeellent dance music was appreciated by the dancers. The Monto Carlo waltz was won by Mr D. Nuttall and partner and competitions were Won by Mr A, Alexajider and Mr Kerny. A hard-working committeo was responsible for the arrangements and the ladies' committee, with Mrs J. Pow in charge, served a most tempting supper.
