' "CALLING THE TUNE" AND "YELLOWSTONE." Associated Talking Pietures, who made "Murder at Broadcasting Houso" and "The Silent Passenger," have in "Oalling The Tune," their latest production, screening at t,he Municipal to-night, sustained. the favourable iinpression created by those two films. Starring Sally Grey and Clifford Evans, it has an original theme, distinctively handled, and possesses many aspects of popular appeal. Tracing the developnicnt of the gramophone science and ind'ustry, "Calling tlio Tune" possesses unique interest values as well as affording opportunities for perfprmanoes by notable world favourites, of Avhom the Queen's Hall Orchestra, under the directiou of Sir Heury Wopd, and Georgo Robey are outstanding exaniples. Action, suspenso, romance and marvellous photography are the qualities which distinguish Univffrsal's "Yelc. lowstone," the mystery which is the aecond feature at the Municipal. A bandit liorde returns to the park, searching for buried treasure which oue of their number hid 18 years before. The conniving strugglo for tho loot r.eaches a pitch of violence that ends iu a mysterious murder.The strange manner in which the crime is committed, and the astonisliing solution, develop novel situations in the story which have never been screened before. The magnificent grandeur of Yellowstone National Park is another reason why the picture, is gripping entertainment. : The cast includos Henry Hunter as the forest ranger; Judith Barrett as his sweetheart; Ralph Morgan, Alan Hale, 'Micliael Loring, Andy Devine, Monroe Owsley and PaUl Harvey.
