Trials at Wellington Next Month Tbe decision of ihe Council of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association !to liold trials in ' Wellington on December 11 to select the New Zealand team for the British Empire games in Sydney, next February was officially approved by delegates to the H.B.-P.B. Centre's aunua] meeting in Napier last night. Mr. N. A. McKenzie su^gested that the Gisborne Club should be requested to give Graham Qninn and any other oandidates for the trials they might have in mind a try-out before the end of the current month, and that thc Napier and Hastings Clubs he asked to ruri trials also, all the clnbs to supply the centre with details of the performances of their nominees. H was unanimously decided to adopt this eourse,.and the forwarding of the results of the trials ■'to Wellington was left in the soiector's handa.
