Fifteen counties are Uow affected. The prohibition of cattle movements in SoUthern England will, it is feared, seriously affect the trade with Southern Ireland. A Berlin message says tliat owing to the preoccupation of the Nazi agri cultural authorities in corabating foot-and-mouth disease in Germany the uational farmers' convention has been cancelled. Three thousand four hundred German farms are affected. Postmen are forbidden to enter them and letterp must be collected on the rOadside,-
