WHANGAREI, Last- Night. The steps taken to build up a reserve of butter-boxes so that no shortage would faee tlhe industry in the event of a hold-up of supplies were described by Mr A. J. Murdoch, chairman of the Dalry. Board, at the ward conference Y-t Whangarei to-day. x Mr Murdoch said ' that the Minister had authorised. the board to iniport up to 750,000 Swedish boxes, and the first of an order for 500,000 would arrive at Auckland on November 15. The next move would' be to ehdeavour to obtaiu sauction for . the. export of butter in foreign boxes, wliieh' under the existing regulation was forbidden.
