Japanese Menaced by Bold Flank Move

(Eeceived 10, 2.15 p.m.) . NANKING, Nov. 9. The inception of a bold Chinese flanking movement in North China is endangering the Japanese advance along the Peking-Hankow railway. Chinese regiments pinned Japanese to Paotienchu, in North Honan, while the Chinese right wing, moving cross country, struck west towards the railway from Taming between the Shantung and Honan provinces. One Chinese detachment has already captured Chengan and another seized Shuntehfu and Kwangchuan railway stations blowing up tracks and bridges jeopardising the Japanese near Changtehfu compelling their , withdrawal north of the Chang Eiver.
