Langdon Prime, of Napier, has been admitted as a Fellow of the New Zealand 1'nsfitute of Seeretaries. The Hon, F. M. B. Fislier. who has been visiting Napier, left by car this morning for Eotorua. . Mr Bromley M. Bennett has Teturned to Napier from a tonr of England and the Continent. The Et. Bev. O. West-Watson, Bishop of Christchnrch, is retutning to New Zealand by the Bangitata, which is due at Auckland on November 17. Sir Holberry^ Mensforth, a prominent English industrialist, and* Lady Mensforth, are passengers by the Bhngitata, which is due at Auckland from London on November 17. Dr H. J. Mail, superintendent of the Coromandel Hospital, h^s been appointed medical superintendent of the Opotiki Hospital. The Bev. John Cable, vicar of Henderson, has resigned, owing to illhealth. The Bev. W. H. Styeh, vicar of Te Kopuru, has been appointed his huecessor. Mr J. D. Chater, general manager of the Kenya Co-operative Creamery, is at Wellington prior to making a tour ot inspeetion of the New Zealand dairying indnstry. He arrived by tho Tawaroa from England, after attending the international dairy Oongress in Qermany. Mr Duncan Darroch, Mt. Cook, th« weli-known NeW Zealand artist, teturned by the Fort Hunter after a painting Jrip abroad. He left New Zealand in the Port Brisbane in May and trkvelled via Capo Hofn to London and the Highlands. Mr Alfred W. Brayshay, A.M.I.C.E., of the staff of the city engineor, Wellington, has rosigned his position in ordor to take up au appointment in Turkey. Mr Brayshay was formerly in the omploy of a pipe-makxng firm in England, and it is to supervise a big work that is being carried out in Turkey by thqt firm that. his serviees have been secured.
