"WELLINGTON, -This Day. An nrgent question was aslced the ; Minister of Marketing, . the Hon. . W. Nash, by Mr. W. J. Broadfoot (Nat. Waitomo) in the House of Bepresentatives yesterd-y. • He suggested that • the Government should make.up.the ' difference to the dairy farmer i:i thea event of the London wholesale price of" butter exeeeding that fixed for butter supplied to the iocal market; i Mr. Nash, in reply, said the dairy factories supplying the local market with butter and cheese were placed on exactly the same basis as the factories supplying the overseas market. The Government's policy was so organised as to ensure an epual pay-out. to the dairy -factories supply similar grades o£ butter ^nd ohocso. JM.
