South African Police Attacked (Eeceived 9, 8.45 a.m.) CAPETOWN, Nov. 7. A coloured crowd of several hundrcd besieged four police officers who were Bearching a cottage at Mossel Bay for a prohibited narcotic herb, The crowd etoned the cottage, tried to.tear off the fron roof and pull down the chimneys. It buTst the doors and poured in, The police shot their way free, wounding two. Eeinforcements were unable to quell the riot until they fired shots in the air, Two police were Seriously hurt and sir people were arrested.
