Two cricket inatches were played in Central Hawke's Bay during thd Weekend. .Waipukurau Old Boys were defeated by Eparaima &t Wallingford, and the Waipukurau failway tearii Won by a nrrow margin in a match with the Dannevirke railway toatH.I n the Old Boys v. Eparaima inatch, Eparaima, batting first1 compiled 127 funs, Old Boys roplying With 80- The home team closed their seeond innlngs when 60 runS Were On the boafd for the lo&s of four wickets- Stapleton made54, but at stumps the, match was uhfinished, eight men having been disxnissed with 96 runs.
