ANNUAL MEETING
Hastings Poultry Society ELECTION OF OFFICERS The annual nieeting of the Hastings ' Poultry, Pigeon and Canary Society, was held in the Soeiety's elub rooms, and was largely attended. Many members and fanciers-coming from Napier and elsewhere. The chairman 's report • was a very comprehensive one and paid great tribute to the valiiable co-operation he had always ,had from the honorary secretaries, Mr and Mrs C; P. Hopkins, and . his committee. Finance matters ' generally were in a flourishing condition, 'a eredit balance on the year's working of £-11 6/- being shown. Various speakers eulbgised 'the groat and valuable services to ' the club of the secretary. He' was voted. &5.C/-, . . • "■ Specia.' ref erence during the meetxng was niade to the work of Mr G. C. A lioarty vote of thanks was passed to the Press : for their .continued -help and . support in publishing meeting reports, etc. .
