OLYMPICS TO GO ON
No Question of Abandonment TOKIO MESSAGE TQ LONDON (Beceived 8, 8.45 a.m.) , LONDON, Nov. 6. The committee organising the Olympic Games at Tokio has sent a message to the British Olympie Association, reiterating that there is no danger of the Games being abandoned. "Preparations are rapidly progressing," the message states. "It is true that, in view of the conflict in China, the plans for constructing the stadium have been'modified, but the Games will bo held more eeonomically and simply, thus conforming with the real spirit of the Olympiads and avoiding the extravagance that allegedly has been associated with the Games in the past. "But even if the Chinese conflict is • prolonged so that the Government is ' unable to give full measure of support 1 tlie enthusiasm prevalent in Tokio and the sports people tlirougliout Jap,an ivill overcome all difficulties.
