MARAENUI LADIES' WEEK-DAY CLUB
The week-day branch of the Maraenui Club held its last competition day for the season when the programine oonsisted of a stroke competition and two sealed handicap events, driving, approaching and putting competitions. There was an almost full attendanco of members and an enjoyable afternoon was spent. Prizes for the day and for the past season were presented- by the president, Mrs. J. H. Oldham. Details are as foliow: — President' s tropliy, Miss Harvey ; captain's trophy, Miss Green; the Eogan'Rose Bowl, Mrs. H. R. Gasson; the Northe Clock, Miss Harvey ; the Mayo Cup, Miss Harvey ; eclectic score, Mrs. F. D. Logan; Gair tropliies, Mrs. A. J. Anderson and Mrs. F.'D. Logan; driving, hliss P. Gox; approaching, Mrs. G. Gair; putting, Mrs. J. Ritchie; stroke competition, Miss Barnes and Miss Burnley ; sealed handicap, Miss .Northe and Mrs. Simmonds. During the afternoon tea interval, the club captain, Mrs. C. Gair, in a pleasmg speech, presented the president, Mrs. Oldham, with a bouquet of roses and fern. Mra, Oldham auitabl© replied,
