Mr Bernard Groom, of Wellington, recently paid a short visit to hils mother, Mrs R. R. Groom, of "Dartford," Ormondville. Mr and Mrs C. Barnes and family, of Levin, are spending a holiday in Ormondville, whore they are the guests of Mr and Mrs Ghapman. The death occurred at Christchurch recently of Mr N. Stanton Goodreds, ' . retired engineer, and father of Mr Cyril F. GooJreds, a well-lcnown accountant, formerly of Dannevirke.
