Employment Fund Fraud

GISBORNE, This Day. Remafking that in various parts of the Dominion, n:en had been sent to gaol for uefraudi. the Employment Fund, Mr Justice Ostler, in the Supreme Gor f this morning, remarked that he could not do other than impose 'sentence of imprisonment on an official of the department who also had partieipated in a raid on the fund. The prisoner t as Percy Fulton, formerly employment officer at Gisborne who pleaded guilty to >Iovcn eharges of making false documents and seven of false pretenees, whereby ihe obtained £13 5/- from the Employment Fund. He was sentenced to aix months' gaol.
