Reports from AmCriea state that a number of Swedish films have been aequired by the film library of the New York Museum of Mouern Art. Fotomost among these Swedish filn • is the Stiller illm Gosta Berling's Saga, with Greta Garbo, and produced in Sweden shortly before she transferred !her art to America. The flxed steel ropes on the Matterhorn which have become worn by timo and weather, have all been changed— ? a diflSoult operation, as two Alpine guides had to carry the heavy steel hopes on their shoulders tq a heiglit of ever 12,000ft., passing over piany dangerous points.
