Stortford Lodge Sale A short yarding of fat skeep at Stortford Lodge yesterday aceounted for late values being maintained, although competitiou was not as keen as might have been expected. Six pens of spring lambs were offered and these ranged from 27/6 to 35/- and averaged from lOd to lld per pound, except in the case of the first pen in the beginning of the sale. which made 1/- per lb. Shorn wethers of medium weights made 30/7. . Heavy prime shorn ewes brought 26/- and an extra heavy pen of ewes in the1 wool realised 35 /-. Woolly ewes in- good order, having their lambs taken ofF three days previous, brought, 28/*. Sliorn. prime two-tooths showing quality realised 2Q/-.
