Eyston Hopes to Set New Mark "THUNDERBOLT" READY

(Received 4, 8.45 a.m.) NEW YORK, Nov. 3. A message from Bonneville, Utah, says that Captain George Eyston, the famous British racing motorist, will make another attempt on the speed record within a week. Captain Eyston is confidont that he will acliieve a new record, whieh was denied hira on tho last occasion
owing to ■ trouble with the clutch. The necessary repairs are now complete. Experts believe that the Thunderbolt is capable of Teaching 350 miles an hoiir, but the opinion is expressed that 315 miles will be the maximum due to the strain on the tyres. Captain Eyston said to-day that the thi'ottle was not fully opened on the last occasion. . * 1
