RECORD SEA DESCENT
Piccard Making Preparations PARIS, Nov. 3. M. Piccard is preparing for a record sea descent. He hopes to reach a deptli of five miles under the Pacific in a spherical vessel built to withstand enormous pressure. He wifl have wireless communication with the surfaee. M. Piccard did not disclose where he is making his attempt.
