In any tournament or competition held by the Association, or by a centre or club, any player, centre or club ofiicial, executive officer, or member of council may challenge a bowl or bowls being played on the ground that such bowl or bowls do not compJy with the laivs of the game. Time Limit (as altered July, 1935). — At the conclusion of the time limit a bell shall be rung, and play shall cease. Provided, however, that it the jack has been thrown before the bell rings, the head shall be considered as started ; it, however,. the player -fails to throw tlie jatk correetly, the priviiege of replacing tlie mat shall revert to tlie opposing player, who shall then throw the jack ; but under no other circumstances sliall the jack be thrown or retlirown ai ter the bell has rung, excexifc in tlie event of it becomiiig neces- , sury tu decidq g, ti©.
