(By Telegraph-
WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Minlster of Defence, the Hon. F. The Minister added that he was awaiting the arrival of a sample of the blue uniform used • in Australia which he would exiamine with other uniforms. The form of head-dress to be worn with the new uniform was also under consideration. "We have not decided on the colour of the new uniform yet," said Mr. Jones. "In New Zealand we are anxious to have our men looking smart and neatly turned-out. In addition the men require a change of uniform when ofl? duty and tliere is no ieason why this uniform should not be made as smart as possible."
