N.Z. and French Teams i - Inyited To Atistralia -• • (Received- 3, 8.45 a.m.l , SYDNEY, Nov. 2. Tho New South Wales Rugby League.decided by a large majority to support the proposal that a New Zealand team should be invited to tour Australia next year and that a French team should also be invited if the managers of the Kangaroos expressed a favourable opinion as to the standard of the game in France, The league was unanimous that, Ib the event of arrangements heing completed for the visit of a French team, it should play its first m'atch in Australia. These decisions will he considered hy the Australian Board of Control, but they are certain to he endorsed. The decision that the Frerichmen should play their first game in Australia means that there is no prospect of exhibition matches between the Frenchmesn and the Kangaroos being played in the XJnited States or of the French team playing in New Zealand on the way hack to Australia, as suggested by the managers of the Kangaroos.
