The men wished to go to Slarseilles in the North African mail boat L'Amoriciere, but when they went aboard L'Amoriciere's crew refused to eail without the eseort of a French war*ship, fearing that the (iresence of so inany Spanish Government supporters would invite attack. They refused an oflier of a seaplane escorfc, so the Cabo san Totoinoe's men were landed again. \
