QUARTETTE PLANNED
Dramatist's Widow (Received 3, 8.45 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 2. Mr. John Drinkwater's widow, the Australian violinist, Daisy Kennedy, will skortly become the leaaer and conductress of a rnale string quartette, with which she expects to tour the world. Before going on tour they will play at theatres and music halls, and perliaps in hotel and club ballrooms. The quartette will be drawn from six English, Irish and - Australian players, and will play liglit music in a new way, eschewing jazz and musical comedy. Daisy Kennedy said; "I will wear wonderi'ul f rocks. I must think of my three little daughters now that VI am a widow." Mr, Harold Hold, the well-known lmpresario, will support the venture. Daisy Kennedy has fully recovered from her recent motor accident, which necessitated 55 facial stitches, but these are now invisible.
