DEGREE EXAMINATIONS

Students Sitting at Hastings, Napier and Waipukurau The annual New Zealand University degree examinatfons began in. Hastings, •Napier and Waipukurau dn Monday. In Hastings the examinations are being held in the Oddfellows' Hafi. From the Hastings High School four are sitting the B'.A. papers, having qualified for terms. Of these, three are sitting for th© first section- of th© B.A. and one for the first section of the B.Sp. In Napier 114 candidates aro sitting in the Foresters' Hall for various papers, including M.A., M.Sc., and LL.M. (Honours), B.A. and B.Sc., (three stages). These examinations will conclude on November 19. Two three hour sessions are to be held daily except Saturdays and Sundays. The Waipukurau oeatre is at St. Mary's hall, where 22 candidates are sitting. Mr. E. Broad is the pupervisor.
