Three German airmen, Baron von Gablenz, Captain Untucht, and Herr Kirchnoff, who were held captive for weeks in Chinese Turkestan, managed to escape and reached the Tempelhof Aerodrome, Berlin, on October 4. They had a wonderful reception from an excited crowd.
