Not content with committing breaches of their prohibition orders, Harry Erancis Lowe, a Hastings labourer, an.d Gordon Heskoth^ of Waipukurau, labourer, threw fruit at the window of the Carlyle stroet police statioa, Napier, an apple Creaking a pane of glass. Belore Mr j. Miller, $.MV in the Napier Magletrate's Court' yesterday morning they were charged with wilfui damago and breach of prohibition orders, each being fined with iSl 2/8 costs and £1 with 10/- costs, respcctiveiy, in default U days' imprisonment. Henior-Sefgeant W. Bender called evldence tp show that the two men visited the Hoyal Hotel, Napier, and Hesketn was rpfused liquor. Later two men entered a fruit shop nearby and disappeared with an orange and an apple as ihe woman came to sefve them- Later the apple was hurled through tho windpw and the orange found outside. Both accused made statements tp tho police to the effect that they admitted drinking, but had nP recollectiou of throwing the fruit. To Lowe th'e Magistrato said, "I have to warn you that you were pro- ( Uibited in October, and came before me last week. This is your second conviction and I warn you that if you Uppear before me again it will not he a question, of leavmg the Court ag you do to-day. It will b'e Rotoroa for you, and that will prpbably mean two years,"
